Tollywood has made it a habit to roll out consecutive pan Indian films that are working big time at the box office. The most recent addition to the list is the second part of Pushpa.

SS Rajamouli is obviously the leader of the pack and the one who opened this market in the first place. This was quickly followed by Sukumar with the first part of Pushpa. He then hit it out of the park with the second part, and is now right next to Rajamouli.
Koratala Siva did Devara but his pan Indian prospects as of this moment are a bit shaky. This wasn’t a breakout product that could add value to the Director. Nevertheless, Koratala has managed to put up some sort of a product in the pan Indian circuit.

Then comes Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With Animal, Sandeep has caught the attention of the pan Indian audience, and he is one of the most sought after directors in Indian cinema now.
Lastly, we have Nag Ashwin, who rolled out Kalki which went well in the bigger markets and attained him credence.

While Rajamouli is the only proven elite director here with substantial and consistent success, Sukumar has done it twice with Pushpa which is from the same cinematic world.
Sandeep is right up there with Animal and he can cement it further with Spirit. Nagi did enter the market with Kalki but a lot depends on his upcoming presentation in the pan Indian scene.
Koratala hasn’t necessarily created a brand for himself or anything but he put his name out there with Devara.
But for the time being, these are the five notable enough big names in Tollywood that have a presence in the pan Indian circuit. Given the way Tollywood is bustling, we could have more additions to the list in the form of Prasanth Varma and others.
