New-gen Camry will not have any direct rivals on arrival though it will soon face up to the Skoda Superb set for launch next year while it could also compete with the BYD Seal EV

Unveiled globally at the end of 2023, the new Toyota Camry is just launched in India. It brings a host of design updates, colour options and better onboard equipment while the biggest change will be seen in its engine lineup. The new Camry takes the place of its predecessor which has been on sale in India since 2019 while it did receive a mid-life update in 2022.

The new Camry is priced at Rs 48 lakh (Ex-sh) and is expected to once again ace the executive sedan segment, with several features and safety updates. Unlike its global counterpart offered in LE, SE, XLE and XSE trim levels, Toyota Camry for India is launched in one fully-loaded trim.
