A 57-year-old passenger travelling in the Tambaram Weekly Special Express from Rajasthan on Wednesday died, reportedly of illness, when the train was at the Warangal railway station.

Warangal: A 57-year-old passenger travelling in the Tambaram Weekly Special Express from Rajasthan on Wednesday died, reportedly of illness, when the train was at the Warangal railway station.

According to reports, L Bharat Kumar, who was traveling along with his mother and niece from Rajasthan, developed uneasiness and co-passengers informed the railway authorities. Warangal Station Master immediately alerted the 108 ambulance services and made arrangements for taking him to a nearby hospital. However, the health officials, who attended Bharat Kumar on arrival at the Warangal station, declared him dead.


The body was shifted to MGM Hospital for postmortem and later handed over to his mother Kamaladevi.
