Icon star Allu Arjun was arrested in the case of the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The incident took place on the 4th of December.
The reports say that the police officials will record Allu Arjun’s statement today. There is no clarity if Allu Arjun will be arrested and sent to remand. At the same time, there is also an option for granting station bail to Allu Arjun, requesting him to come back again on a later date.
However, the news is that the police charged case against Allu Arjun under the sections 105, 118 (1), which can be read with 3/5 BNS sections. The case under 105 section is non available and under 118 (1), if proven guilty, Allu Arjun can be sentenced to jail for 1 to ten years.
At the same time, the interesting aspect to note is that Allu Arjun has been taken to investigation on Friday. If the proceedings get delayed and if he has to be arrested, the bail may not be granted until Monday since the court will not be operational on Saturday and Sunday.
