Speculations suggest Ford India revival plan will commence with the launch of Ranger pickup and Endeavour (Everest) SUV
In India, Ford is currently in a see-saw action as the company seems to be going back and forth on its plans to revive Indian operations. While Ford has shipped the Ranger pickup truck and Everest SUV (Endeavour in India) supposedly for internal testing and assessments, the trail seems to have gone cold after that, as developments from Blue Oval are low.
However, the launch probability of Ford Endeavour (Everest) to rival large SUVs like Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster and Ford Ranger to rival Toyota Hilux is pretty decent. Both vehicles are based on a common platform to fit different body styles. Ford Ranger pickup truck was recently crash-tested by Latin NCAP and let’s take a look at the results.
