Landing of four flights delayed to poor visibility at Visakhapatnam airport

Three IndiGo flights arriving at Visakhapatnam International Airport from Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai, and one Air India Express were delayed due to poor visibility as a result of fog on Friday (December 13) morning.

Flight No. 6E618/6E307, which was scheduled to land at 7 a.m. was delayed by 2 hours and landed at 9.02 a.m., 6 E 217/6 E 218, which was scheduled to arrive from Bengaluru at 7.10 a.m. was delayed and arrived at 9.09 a.m., 6 E 557/6E 845, which was scheduled to arrive from Chennai at 7.45 a.m. was delayed and arrived at 9.05 a.m.

Similarly, the AI Express flight IX 2563/2548, which was scheduled to arrive from Bengaluru at 9.15 a.m. was also delayed and arrived at 10.10 a.m., according to Airport Director S. Raja Reddy.
