Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Sunday expressed his disapproval of chief minister A Revanth Reddy‘s comments about the officials of an infrastructure company.
In his reaction, KT Rama Rao pointed out that since Revanth Reddy previously faced jail time for being caught with a bag of cash, it seemed he wanted others to share that experience. He questioned, “What kind of chief minister would so recklessly threaten the CFO of a respected company with imprisonment just for expressing an opinion on a government policy affecting their business?” He further pondered the motives behind such statements, suggesting it might be part of Congress Lok Sabha Leader Rahul Gandhi‘s strategy to attract investments.
These comments were made during a national debate hosted in Delhi, where the anchor highlighted the negative impact of the free bus ride scheme on metro rail usage, citing a company official. In response, Revanth Reddy stated he instructed the police to imprison the official.
