Telangana Government has introduced a Bill renaming the existing University College for Women in Koti as Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University and including it in the schedule of Telangana Universities Act 1991. The college is spread over 40 acres.

Health Minister C. Damodar Rajanarsimha introduced the Bill amending the Telangana Universities Act 1991 in the Legislative Assembly on behalf of the Chief Minister on Monday (December 16, 2024)
