Hyderabad: Telangana high court on Monday extended the interim bail granted to suspended additional SP N Bhujanga Rao on medical grounds. Justice K Sujana issued orders to this effect while hearing a lunch motion moved by Bhujanga Rao challenging order of Nampally court.
The Nampally court had dismissed Rao’s earlier petition seeking an extension of interim bail and directed him to surrender before the competent court. Challenging the order, Rao filed a petition before the high court, which granted him an extension of the interim bail on medical grounds. Bhujanga Rao is the third accused in the phone tapping case being investigated by Hyderabad police.tnn
