Prabhas sustained an injury during the film production. Reports indicate that he won’t be able to participate in the promotion of the upcoming Japanese release of “Kalki 2898 AD.”
Prabhas reportedly sustained a leg injury while filming ‘Fauji,’ directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Consequently, he cancelled his trip to Tokyo. Director Nag Ashwin will be traveling to Tokyo in the next two days.
Prabhas possesses a large fanbase in Japan. His popularity has surged there after the release of the film “Baahubali.”Following the release of Baahubali-2, numerous Japanese fans began traveling to Hyderabad to see Prabhas in person. All his films are getting released in Japan with high expectations.

“Kalki 2898 AD,” a sci-fi thriller with mythology blended in it, was released in theaters in June 2024. The film grossed more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide, with $18.5 million in revenue in USA. It also became the all-time second highest-grossing Indian film in North America.
