Hyderabad: A fortnight after the stampede at the Sandhya theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 movie, the condition of the minor boy who was critically injured remains serious, said doctors.
Over the last two weeks, he has shown slight improvement, said doctors, but added that he has not regained consciousness. “Today Sritej has undergone tracheostomy tube placement. The procedure done in OT was uneventful. He continues to remain afebrile. His vital parameters continue to be normal with low dose inotropes. His neurological status remains unchanged,” said Dr Chetan R Mundada and Dr Vishnu Tej Pudi, treating doctors at KIMS Cuddles.
Meanwhile, Allu Arvind, father of actor Allu Arjun said, “We are willing to extend full support to Sritej’s treatment. I am told that from last 10 days, he has been showing recovery. It was on advice of our legal team, my son Allu Arjun did not come to see the boy. I visited the hospital after taking permission from the govt.”
