Kurnool police lauded for resolving most number of cases at National Lok Adalat

Director General of Police (DGP) Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao on Wednesday presented a certificate of appreciation to Kurnool district Superintendent of Police (SP) G. Bindu Madhav for resolving 7,913 cases during the National Lok Adalat.

After receiving the certificate from the DGP at Vijayawada, the SP told the media that during the National Lok Adalat on December 14, the Kurnool police emerged first by solving the most cases in the State.

The SP said that in multiple police stations throughout the district, eligible cases for settlement in Lok Adalat were initially identified, and a comprehensive plan was developed at the ground level to foster coordination between the plaintiffs and the parties involved in those cases.

Not only did this save valuable court time, but 7,913 cases were resolved after both parties participated in the National Lok Adalat. The SP urged the police officers and staff to maintain the same commitment in their future efforts.
