Revanth accuses Adani, Modi for tarnishing India’s global reputation

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on industrialist Gautam Adani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing them of tarnishing India’s image globally. He cited reports from U.S. investigative agencies alleging Adani bribed American institutions and criticized Modi for remaining silent on the issue despite demands for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry raised by Rahul Gandhi in Parliament.

Revanth Reddy criticized Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing it of maintaining a covert agreement with the BJP to avoid addressing the Adani controversy.

“BRS must clarify their stance on Adani and support the demand for a JPC inquiry. Their silence shows their fear and submission to the BJP,” Reddy stated.

Reddy also accused Modi of protecting Adani, promising further protests, including at Rashtrapati Bhavan, if the JPC is not formed.
