Hyderabad: A 52-year-old housewife allegedly ended her life in Vanasthalipuram and her body was recovered from her car that was parked at her residence, the police said on Thursday adding that they believe it to be a case of death by suicide. No suicide note has been recovered, police said.
After an initial investigation, cops said that the deceased who was identified as A. Usha Sri, 52, was a resident of Rajashri Enclave in Vanasthalipuram. Her family started calling her since she was not seen from afternoon and when they headed downstairs, she was found lying unconscious in her car. They alerted the police.
The family immediately shifted her to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her dead on arrival.
While family stated that nothing suspicious had occurred leading up to the incident, but they are unable to identify any clear motive, the police added.
The police registered a case under Section 194 of the BNSS and the body has been handed over to the family for final rites. Further probe is on.
