Deadline reports NEON has acquired the rights to Bridesa vampire horror film starring Maika Monroe from director Chloe Okuno. The story is said to concern “Sally Bishop (Monroe) and her husband, who travel to a remote Italian villa where the villa’s owner, a mysterious count, takes a peculiar interest in Sally.”
Spider-Man 4
According to a new report from The InSneider, Spider-Man 4 will allegedly only see Zendaya’s MJ in a minor role to make room for a story including Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, symbiotes, Mephisto, and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.

The Wheel of Time
Variety reports Dune: Prophecy‘s Olivia Williams, Luke Fetherston, Callum Kerr and Nuno Lopes have joined the cast of The Wheel of Time‘s third season. Williams will play Morgase Trakand, the Queen of Andor, while Fetherston has been cast as Lord Gawyn of House Trakand. Kerr will play Lord Galad of House Trakand opposite Lopes as Lord Gaebril, Queen Morgase’s male consort.
Local Heroes
Variety additionally reports Kevin Smith, Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan are developing Local Heroesa TV series at NBC said to concern, “a group of comic book store regulars who band together to solve crimes in their hometown.”
The Penguin
Matt Reeves confirmed he’s planning a second season of The Penguin in a new interview with Variety.
Yeah, we’re talking to [showrunner] Lauren [LeFranc] about doing another season. That was a special experience. I just feel really fortunate. These characters don’t belong to me; they belong to the world. It comes down to whether you can approach them in a way that expresses something personal.
