Realme announced its 14 Pro+ and 14 Pro smartphones today, although the company left most of the specs out. It did confirm they will feature a cold-sensitive color-changing panel and revealed their designs.
The 14 Pro+ will feature a triple camera on its back, while the 14 Pro will have dual shooters.
We can also see a new triple-flash system for night-time portraits, and Realme is calling the feature MagicGlow.
The panel was designed in collaboration with Valeur Designers, and it reacts to colder temperatures, unlike previous color-changing solutions, which changed colors when the panel was exposed to sunlight. Here, the Pearl White color will switch to vibrant blue once the device is exposed to 16 degrees C or below.

The Copenhagen-based design studio said it is “pleased to collaborate with such a forward-thinking, youthful brand.” Chase Xu, Realme’s VP and CMO, added that the 14 Pro Series brings “the aesthetics and functionality of Realme smartphones to new heights.”
The Pearl White version will be unique to each user, as the company used a special fusion fiber involving over 30 steps of craftsmanship, ensuring each back has a different pattern.
We also learned the Realme 14 Pro+ will have a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio and a 1.6 mm thin bezel, but size and resolution are yet to be confirmed. It will be IP68 and IP69-compliant and also TUV Rheinland-certified as a rugged smartphone that can withstand accidental drops and water exposure.
The phone was showcased at an event in the Danish capital, where we also learned the Pro+ will run on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and will bring Realme UI 6.0. It will be the only phone in the 14 Pro Series to have a periscope telephoto camera and a quad-curved display; the regular 14 Pro will miss out on these features.
