Hyderabad: Jagtial police on Friday arrested six persons in connection with a dacoity reported at Beerpur a week ago. They recovered stolen valuables worth 5 lakh and two toy pistols used in thecrime.
Ashok Kumar, district superintendent of police, said the accused broke into the residence of a grocery store owner, threatened him with toy pistols, and assaulted him. They also threatened his wife, tied both of them with cloth strips, gagged them, and took away cash and valuables from the house before fleeing.
Police registered a case and deputed special team to apprehend the suspects. the accused were sent to judicial remand, the SP added.tnn
