Kia Syros recently made its world debut in India. The South Korean automaker has confirmed that its all-new sub-4 metre compact SUV will go on sale in February 2025. It will also be displayed at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in January. Unofficial bookings for the Syros have already commenced at select Kia dealerships, while official pre-bookings will begin on 3rd January 2025.
The model lineup consists of six trims – HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O) – and two engine options: a 120bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and a 116bhp, 1.5L diesel. While the petrol engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox, the diesel unit can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The higher variants with automatic gearboxes also feature paddle shifters.
