Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested a person for committing a house burglary in his relative’s house in Jagadgirigutta.
The arrested has been identified as Nadgotti Bharath, 23, of Jagadgirigutta in Warangal. The police recovered gold ornaments weighing 12.7 tulas, all worth over Rs.7 lakh from the possession of Bharath.
In his complaint, Jangam Paramesh said he locked his house at 2 pm on December 15 and left for Jangoan in Warangal along with his family members to attend his grandmother’s first death anniversary.
After three days, he returned home at 12 pm and found that the window glass was broken. He unlocked the main door and went inside the house only to find that the almirah lock in his bedroom was broken and gold ornaments were missing.
Based on a complaint, the police booked a case and found that Bharath was involved in it. Bharath broke open the glass of the PVC window with a stone and opened it before entering the complainant’s house. He broke up the almarh lock and stole gold ornaments.
Police enquires revealed that Bharath was a distant relative of the complainant and his parents passed away when he was a child. After completing class X, he was residing in an orphanage and later started residing with his relatives while working in hair salons shops.
Due to lack of parenting, Bharath developed bad friendship leading to addiction of smoking and consuming alcohol. He then started living lonely. In order to fund his vices, he and his friends started committing burglaries, according to G. Hanumantha Rao, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Balanagar.
He went to Jail in 2020 from Medipally police station and in 2022 from Charminar police station in theft cases. After he came out from jail, he did not change his mindset and habituated to earn easy money by committing property offences.
