Canvas Frame:
Here is the look of the front profile now:
The canvas support frame can completely dismantled by a single person. Even the roll bar can be easily removed. The idea was to have a well shaped canvas when it is put on and then whenever we want a completely open jeep it can be easily converted.
Next Course of Action:
The denter has finished his tinkering -denting work. Now all the frames, seats, roll bar etc will be removed and it will be then sent for paint Job. The painter has asked for 8 days for it to be completed. There after the electrical work will take place which include complete wiring change with proper piping. The fuse box will be repaired with all new fuses along with relays etc. There will be a start button and a 12V DC lighter. I am also adding a Dolphin Digital clock of the Gypsy.
Canvas:
The next phase will be the canvas. A brand new black canvas will be fabricated. The sides of the canvas will have the option to be completely rolled up.
The last part is to carry out all the oil and tube changes.
I will keep updating.
Name – I have decided to call him PHANTOM
in honour of the Brave ARMY DOG who laid down his life in J & K on 28 Oct 2024.
Colour:
The colour of the Jeep planned as of now is this. I have chosen the picture from open source:
