Woman seeks CM aid to repatriate spouse

Hyderabad: A woman from Jagtial district in Telangana has urged chief minister A Revanth Reddy for help in repatriating her husband from Saudi Arabia, alleging he is avoiding returning to India.
Guduri Latha, a resident of Medipalli village in Jagtial, submitted a memorandum at the Pravasi Prajavani on Friday, seeking state govt assistance. Latha explained that her husband, Guduri Bhoomeshwar, has been enduring severe mental stress and is no longer in contact with family. She believes he is avoiding returning home, unable to take on the financial burden of getting their three daughters married.
Bhoomeshwar left for Saudi Arabia in April 2014, and his last contact with the family was in April 2023. While he travelled to Saudi Arabia with a renewed passport, the family has no details about it. They have learned that he was living in Muhayil, Abha, Saudi Arabia.
Bheem Reddy Mandha, convenor of the TPCC NRI cell, who was present when Latha and her daughters submitted the memorandum, stated that the family is seeking govt intervention to locate Bhoomeshwar and facilitate his return to India.
