Etala Rajender Inspects Cherlapally Terminal Ahead of Launch

Hyderabad:The Cherlapally railway station, constructed at the cost of around Rs 450 crore, to decongest the Hyderabad’s existing railway stations, will be opened on December 28, by Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnav along with Union minister for coal and mines, G Kishan Reddy and others, said Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajender, on Saturday.

The BJP leader visited the new railway terminal to oversee the arrangements. The newly constructed railway terminal has modern amenities and it will help in easing passenger volume pressure on three major stations located at Secunderabad, Nampally and Kacheguda. The new terminal has nine platforms, including four elevated ones.

On the other, while speaking to reporters, Etala said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi listed out 100 reasons in the Parliament to prove that the Congress has no moral right to take the name of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of Constitution. “The Congress leaders humiliated Ambedkar, several times, and even defeated him in the direct elections. The Congress had removed Ambedkar from the cabinet and worked against social justice when it was in power. Hence, Congress leaders have no moral right to take the name of Ambedkar.”
