Two more deaths occurred in the LPG tanker blast accident in Jaipur on Saturday. The death toll in the accident has now reached 14. On Friday, 5 people were burnt alive on the spot in an accident on Ajmer Road in Jaipur. At the same time, 7 people died during treatment in Sawai Mansingh Hospital.

35 people who got burnt in the accident near Delhi Public School are still admitted in the hospital. In this accident, 25 people suffered 75 percent burns. Many dead bodies that reached Sawai Mansingh Hospital have not been identified yet. Actually, on Friday morning Bharat Petroleum tanker was coming from Ajmer towards Jaipur. At about 5.44 minutes the tanker took a U-turn in front of Delhi Public School. During this time, a truck going from Jaipur to Ajmer collided with him.
18 tons of gas leaked
Sushant Kumar Singh, DGM (Fire and Safety) of GAIL India Limited, said that due to the collision, 5 nozzles of the tanker broke and 18 tonnes (180 quintals) of gas leaked. This caused such a powerful explosion that the entire area turned into a ball of fire. There was another tanker filled with LPG about 200 meters away from where the tanker exploded. It was fortunate that it did not catch fire.
PM Modi had expressed grief
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the Jaipur fire. Financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh has been announced to the families of those who died in this accident. Also, Rs 50,000 will be given to the families of the injured. Meanwhile, CM Bhajan Lal has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh to the injured. In this way, the families of those killed in this fire will get a total of Rs 7 lakh each. The injured will get one lakh fifty thousand rupees.
