Fronx off-road version – Sea Bass Night Game Concept

As Fronx off-road version in the form of Sea Bass Night Game Concept is only to make a cool impression, it will stay mechanically stock

Ever since the Fronx was launched, Maruti Suzuki has firmly extended its sub 4m SUV portfolio and firmly established dominance alongside Brezza. Fronx is a global vehicle too and has been a staple export from India. Suzuki Global has just debuted Fronx off-road version in the form of Sea Bass Night Game Concept.

This is not exactly an off-road oriented version in terms of mechanical upgrades and capabilities. Instead, Suzuki has given it an off-road vibe with a bunch of accessories to be showcased at Tokyo Auto Salon alongside Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition, WagonR Smile European Antique Concept, Solio, Solio Bandit and New Gen Space Gear.

Based on the Baleno premium hatchback, Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a crossover SUV adhering to sub 4m length constraints. It has a sloping coupe roofline and a squat stance that looks sporty and athletic. Some (including me) regard Fronx as the prettiest car Maruti Suzuki ever manufactured.

A more off-road version of this vehicle has just debuted in the form of Sea Bass Night Game Concept. Suzuki intends to showcase this car at their pavilion at Tokyo Auto Salon. Ahead of the showcase Suzuki has released pictures of Fronx Sea Bass Night Game Concept in all its glory.

For starters, this vehicle is finished in a lovely livery with Black as the main colour, complemented by Lime Green accents everywhere. We can see Lime Green accents on grill, fake skid plates, front and rear wheel arch cladding and even on the fake rock sliders. There’s a triangular motif in Lime Green shade on rear quarter glass.

We can see large Fronx decals on the side towards the rear. Interestingly, all the body cladding on this vehicle seems to have some kind of Raptor coating for a rugged look. Pillars, grill and bonnet get a glossy Black shade that stands out. This Concept also gets Off-road wheels wrapped with Yokohama rubber. Rear wheels are painted Lime Green, a nice touch.

Speaking of nice touches, we have kept the nicest touches for the end. There’s a very attractive and functional roof box at the top finished in the same livery. It even gets Fronx badging in Lime Green shade. There’s also roof-mounted LED flood lights that reminds us of Mercedes G-Class 4X4 Squared.

Will It Launch?

The main intentions behind the Fronx Sea Bass Night Game Concept is to make a cool impression at Tokyo Auto Salon. Looking at the car, we would say the coolness factor is achieved and is likely to grab a lot of eyeballs at Tokyo Auto Salon between January 10th to 12th, 2025 at Makuhari Messe in Japan. Launch is highly unlikely.
