Hyderabad: Not only hotels and pubs, but some real estate firms are also gearing up to host grand New Year’s Eve parties on the outskirts of the city. These events, held at their ongoing projects, offer the opportunity for extra revenue while providing much-needed publicity for their ventures. Along with a live DJ, food, and beverages, attendees can enjoy a stay for around 2,500 to 3,000 per person.
“We have two ventures in Sadhashivpet. The New Year party will be hosted at our mango farm or nature gardens,” said Shiva of a city based resort, which plans to host a celebration on Dec 31 for 100 to 120 guests. The event will take place at their resort, part of an ongoing project focused on the sale of farmland.
Similarly, another real estate group, is also planning a New Year party at its site in Nandikandi, Sangareddy district. “A few days ago, we came up with this idea and are still exploring it. Don’t know if we can pull it off on such short notice for our customers and prospects, but we’ll definitely host an event for our employees and their families at our layout site,” said M Umamaheshwar Rao, executive director of a realty firm.
Rao explained that the event would serve as a morale booster for employees and provide a chance to reflect and plan for the year ahead. “From next year, we plan to organise similar events on a larger scale to boost our publicity and strengthen customer connections,” he added.
Denizens also find the concept appealing, as they get to club land or house hunting with partying. “I received one such invitation on WhatsApp and found it quite interesting. Besides checking out the venture, I’ll also have the chance to relax and celebrate with my family, away from the city crowds in the outskirts,” said K Anand, a tech professional.
