Visakhapatnam: A major accident was averted when a speeding container truck fell near the railway track from an overbridge near Payakaraopeta in Anakapalle district on Monday morning. Fortunately, no trains were running on the tracks at the time of the incident. However, the driver and assistant driver sustained sever injuries following the fall. They were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. Police said that the container truck carrying TVs was headed from Mumbai towards Kolkata. In drowsiness, the driver lost control over the container truck and hit the wall of the overbridge. The contained truck fell down the overbridge and landed on the railway track.TNN
