India’s largest low-cost airline, IndiGo, has expanded its network in the US, with new flights now reaching four more states. In partnership with Turkish Airlines, the new route will connect US-bound travelers via Istanbul.
From December 18, 2024, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami have been added to the destination list of IndiGo airlines. This move adds to its existing locations like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, bringing the total to nine.

Atlanta might be the most important addition as it is a hub for diverse cultures and global business, becoming a prime location for Indians. Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, emphasized that these routes help business travelers, students, tourists, and families, ensuring them a hassle-free travel experience.
The partnership between Indigo and Turkish Airlines isn’t a new one as they now connect over 43 locations across the globe. As India’s migrating population is rapidly increasing, this is a great strategic move as it keeps the prices budget-friendly.
