Amaravati: Vijayawada’s Indrakeeladri witnessed a massive influx of devotees on Wednesday as the Bhavani Deeksha Viramana (completion of vows) reached its culmination. Thousands of Bhavanis, who had undertaken the religious vow, converged on the Kanaka Durga Temple.
To accommodate the large turnout, temple authorities implemented free darshan of Goddess Durga across all queue lines. Despite this measure, devotees experienced wait times of 2 to 3 hours to complete their darshan.
The atmosphere at the temple was charged with religious fervour, with the chants of “Jaganmata” (Mother Goddess) echoing through the air.
