Manoj Kumar Sahoo, Divisional Railway Manager, commended N Hari Priya, Chief Commercial Inspector, for receiving the Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, at the 69th Railway Week Function held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. Saandeep was present at the felicitation.
Ms. Hari Priya was selected for the award in recognition of her leadership in implementing innovative ticket-checking initiatives in Waltair Division. Her efforts played a pivotal role in the Division’s record-breaking earnings in the financial year 2023-24. She was instrumental in deploying body-worn cameras and Hand Held Terminals, setting new benchmarks for excellence and commitment in railway services.
The DRM acknowledged that the awards serve as a platform to celebrate the hard work, dedication and exceptional contributions of railway personnel in enhancing the efficiency, safety, and passenger-friendliness of Indian Railways. He commended Ms. Hari Priya for her devotion to duty and expressed hope that she would continue her work with the same enthusiasm and dedication.
The Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar was also presented to two more employees of East Coast Railway: Pradeep Kumar Jha, Protocol Officer and Suprabhat Mitra, Technician Grade-2, in recognition of their exemplary service.
