Hyundai Cars at 2025 Bharat Mobility Show (Auto Expo)

India’s second-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India, will showcase a range of its upcoming products and technologies at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in January. While the debut of the Creta EV, followed by its price announcement on 17th January, will be the major highlight of the event, Hyundai’s existing product lineup will also be on display. The carmaker might additionally showcase some of its global products to highlight its technological progress and capabilities. Official details on Hyundai’s Auto Expo range will be revealed in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the key details of the Hyundai Creta EV.

Hyundai Creta EV – The Showstopper

The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to come with a 45kWh battery pack and a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The power and torque outputs of the e-motor are likely to be 138bhp and 255Nm, respectively. This powertrain setup is also used in the globally sold Hyundai Kona EV. The Creta EV is anticipated to offer a range of over 350km on a single charge.

Inside, the electric Creta will feature a new three-spoke steering wheel instead of the flat-bottom unit seen in its ICE version. The HVAC controls on the center panel will be borrowed from the new Alcazar. The center console will also be revised, incorporating physical buttons for cooled seats, two cup holders, auto hold, an electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera. A drive selector controller will be located near the steering column. The rest of the features will be carried over from the ICE-powered Creta.

The Hyundai Creta EV will be based on the updated Creta but will look slightly different from its ICE sibling. At the front, the SUV will have a closed-off grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels. EV badges will be present at both the front and rear.

New-Gen Venue In H2, 2025

Hyundai Motor India has also planned the launch of the new-generation Venue for 2025. However, the all-new model of the subcompact SUV is likely to arrive in the second half of the year. Significant changes are expected to be made both inside and out, while the engine options might remain unchanged.
