The Sukumar-directed film ‘Pushpa 2’ keeps a stronghold at the box office; on day 21, i.e. its third Wednesday, the movie made a business of Rs. 19.75 crores.

According to the Sacnilk report, the ‘Pushpa 2’ made Rs 19.75 crore net in India across all languages – it collected Rs 4.1 crore in Telugu, Rs 15 crore in Hindi, Rs 0.6 crore in Tamil, Rs 0.04 crore in Kannada and Rs. 0.01 crore in Malayalam.

In the total collection, the maximum business came from the Hindi language, which minted Rs 716.65 crore net in India. On number two we have Telugu with a collection of Rs 316.3 crore, followed by Tamil in third position with a Rs 55.35 crore collection. Thereafter, the movie made Rs 7.48 crore in Kannada and Rs. 14.07 crore in Malayalam.
‘Pushpa 2’ has been a rage right from the word go. Upon its release, it got rave reviews, ETimes also gave 3.5 stars to the movie out of 5. ‘Pushpa 2’ and controversies
Despite facing legal battles and controversies, the movie has remained a box-office success. The tragic demise of a woman during the Pushpa 2 premiere stunned the public. The son of the woman was also present at the event and was severely injured because of the stampede. Allu Arjun was even detained for a day in connection to the incident. Additionally, the actor faced significant backlash, as protesters vandalized his home in Hyderabad. In response, authorities acted swiftly, and security around Allu Arjun’s residence has since been increased. All this while, Allu Arjun and his father did express their grief over the matter. They recently announced Rs 2 crore support for the injured child and mourning family.
As the consequences of the stampede continue to emerge, Allu Arjun and the Pushpa 2 team have received another legal notice. A political leader has lodged a new complaint against ‘Pushpa 2,’ objecting to a specific scene in the film that reportedly disrespects law enforcement.
