HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy is set to meet Telugu film industry veterans on Thursday at the Police Command Control Centre in Hyderabad.
The meeting will feature prominent figures from the industry, including actors Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh, as well as producers Allu Aravind and Dil Raju.
Additionally, deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, along with ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Damodar Raja Narasimha, will attend.
Dil Raju, the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, reassured the public that he would serve as a liaison between the government and the industry.
Speaking about the Sandhya Theatre tragedy on Wednesday, Dil Raju stated, “The CM (Revanth Reddy) has scheduled tomorrow’s appointment, and the entire film industry will meet him. I will act as a bridge between the Telangana Film Development Corporation and the government. Everyone available in Hyderabad will attend.”
Dil Raju also visited KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad to meet the family of Sri Tej, who was involved in the incident. He shared that he had previously met with CM Revanth Reddy to discuss providing necessary support for Sri Tej’s family, ensuring that both the film industry and the government would offer assistance.
In related news, the boy injured in the Sandhya Theatre incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2 has shown signs of recovery after 20 days. His father, Bhaskar, expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from both the Telangana government and actor Allu Arjun. “The child responded after 20 days. He is responding today. Allu Arjun and the Telangana government are supporting us,” he said.
