Hyderabad: Following widespread protests by local students over inordinate delay in conducting counselling for admission into Post Graduate medical seats under PG NEET-2024, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) on Friday released the merit list of students.
The release of merit list paves the way for counseling for admissions into PG medical seats in Telangana and candidates are hoping that the Health University releases notification to start the counselling process in a day or two.
Earlier, the delay in releasing the merit list and starting the counselling process triggered protests from PG aspirants and associations representing doctors including TJUDA and IMA.
A few days ago, the Telangana Junior Doctors Association (TJUDA) and Indian Medical Association (IMA), Telangana chapter urged the State government to prevent injustice happening to NEET PG aspirants of Telangana due to delay in conducting counselling for admissions into PG medical seats this year.
