Tata Harrier EV

The Tata Harrier EV will make its first public debut in production-ready form at the 2025 Auto Expo. Its market launch is expected within the next couple of months (i.e., by March 2025). After the Punch EV and Curvv EV, it will be the third Tata electric SUV designed on the Acti.ev platform. Specifications of the Harrier EV are yet to be disclosed by the carmaker. However, it is expected to feature a 60kWh battery pack and dual electric motors, promising a range of around 500 km on a full charge. Tata Motors has confirmed that its Acti.ev platform-based EVs will support V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) charging capabilities. Spy images reveal that the SUV will also offer an optional AWD system with a rear-mounted electric motor.
Tata Sierra

The Tata Sierra EV and its ICE-powered versions will also be displayed at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. While the electric SUV is slated for a mid-year launch, the petrol/diesel-powered Sierra will arrive in the second half of 2025. The Sierra EV is likely to come with single- and dual-motor configurations, delivering a range of approximately 500 km on a single charge. The ICE version will utilize Tata’s all-new 1.5L Hyperion turbo petrol and 2.0L diesel engines. The SUV’s electric and ICE versions will be built on the Acti.ev and ATLAS platforms, respectively. Both models will feature a Level 2 ADAS suite and a host of modern features. The designs of the electric Sierra and its ICE version will differ slightly, with the EV featuring unique styling elements.
Tata Harrier Petrol

The Tata Harrier petrol is expected to launch this financial year. Under the hood, it will house the brand’s new 1.5L turbo petrol direct-injection engine, the same unit powering the Curvv coupe SUV. This setup delivers a maximum power of 170 PS at 5,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 2,000 rpm and 3,500 rpm. Tata has revealed that the engine can run on petrol and an E20 ethanol-petrol mix. The Harrier petrol will be available with 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. Its design, interior, and features will remain identical to those of the diesel variant.
Tata Altroz EV

Earlier this year, Tata Motors confirmed the launch of the Altroz electric hatchback in 2025. The production-ready version will retain most of its concept design elements, including a closed-off grille, headlamp setup with integrated DRLs, and front air dam with star patterns. The front and rear bumpers will be revised, and the Altroz EV will sport newly-designed alloy wheels. The rear end will feature a blacked-out section on the tailgate. Inside the cabin, EV-specific elements such as lighter shade upholstery and blue accents will be incorporated. While specifications are yet to be revealed, the Altroz EV is expected to use Tata’s Ziptron technology with a permanent magnet AC motor and lithium-ion battery pack, offering a range of 250–300 km.
Tata Tiago/Tigor Facelifts

The Tata Tiago hatchback and Tigor compact sedan are set to receive minor updates in early 2025. While their overall dimensions will remain unchanged, both models are expected to feature tweaked headlamps and taillamps, slightly revised front and rear bumpers, and new alloy wheels. Interior upgrades might include a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, and a front center armrest. A single-pane sunroof, along with new upholstery and trims, might also be offered. Both models will retain their existing 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and CNG fuel options.
Tata Punch Facelift

This year, Tata Motors updated the Punch micro SUV with five new features, including the segment’s first 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, a USB Type-C charging port in the center console, rear AC vents, and a front-row armrest. The Punch is expected to undergo a major midlife update in 2025, with significant design changes and feature upgrades. The engine setup, however, might remain unchanged. The current Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 86 bhp and 113 Nm. Both manual and AMT gearbox options are available.
Tata Avinya

At the 2025 Auto Expo, Tata Motors is expected to showcase the Avinya electric concept alongside its future product lineup. In mid-2024, the automaker revealed that the Avinya EV, built on the Born Electric platform (Gen-3), would be part of its third phase of electrification strategy. Tata’s first Born Electric skateboard architecture-based EV is scheduled for launch towards the end of 2025. The Avinya brand will represent Tata’s premium EV lineup, which will include multiple electric SUVs and MPVs. These EVs will feature next-gen ADAS technology, a battery management system, ultra-fast charging capabilities, OTA updates, and an integrated propulsion system. They are expected to deliver a range of over 500 km.
