Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday paid homage to former CLP leader P. Janardhan Reddy (PJR) on the 17th anniversary of his death at CM’s residence in Hyderabad by offering floral tributes to the late leader’s portrait.
Mr. Revanth Reddy described the former minister PJR as a leader who “always stood by the poor and the marginalised” throughout his political career. He emphasised PJR’s commitment to fight for the rights and welfare of the underprivileged.
The Chief Minister particularly highlighted PJR’s role as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) from 1994 to 1999, during which he became a strong voice of the people of Telangana.
“Late PJR was instrumental in addressing the people’s problems, and his efforts were pivotal in the Telangana movement. He was a tireless advocate for the region’s development and an unrelenting force in the fight for the rights of the people,” the CM added.
