Keerthy Suresh is a popular name in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. However, she recently made her Bollywood debut with Baby John. Recently, the actress was snapped by the paparazzi in Mumbai when she was left annoyed.
On Friday night, Keerthy was seen posing for the paparazzi outside a restaurant in Mumbai. During the photo-op, shutterbugs, in a bid to get her attention, referred to her as ‘Kriti’ instead of ‘Keerthy’. The actress corrected paps and told them about her correct name. “Kriti nahi Keerthy,” she said.
However, she was left annoyed when one of the paparazzi called her ‘Dosa’ – a South Indian dish. The actress gave a befitting reply to the paparazzi and said, “Keerthy dosa nahi, Keerthy Suresh. Aur dosa mujhe pasand hai (I’m not Keerthy dosa but Keerthy Suresh. But I like dosa).” Watch the video here:
Even though Baby John has failed to impress the audiences, Keerthy Suresh’s performance is being liked by many in the Kalees directorial. In News18 Showsha’s review of the movie, Keerthy Suresh’s Bollywood debut was also appreciated.
“Keerthy Suresh’s Bollywood debut as Meera is another highlight of the film. Her nuanced dialogue delivery and expressive acting make her a scene-stealer. With Baby John, Keerthy proves she’s a talent to watch out for in Hindi cinema,” the review read.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Keerthy Suresh recently married her longtime beau Antony. On December 12, the two held a traditional South Indian wedding in Goa. Photos and videos from the ceremony also went viral on social media. According to a report by India Times, Antony is a businessman who works from Dubai and his hometown, Kochi, Kerala. He owns a prominent chain of resorts in his hometown and has a couple of businesses registered in Keerthy’s hometown, Chennai.
