Move aimed at improving the performance of students from government schools in the SSC Public Exams

Hyderabad: In a move to improve the performance of students from government schools in the SSC Public Exams, the Hyderabad district administration has chalked out a 45-day action plan with special revision classes commencing January 2.
In a proceedings issued by Hyderabad DEO R Rohini, all government high schools headmasters have been instructed to hold special classes for Class X students in two sessions i.e., 8 am to 9 am and 4 pm to 5 pm from January 2 to March 3.
They have also been instructed to prepare a special action and have emphasis on slow learners. The schools were directed to ensure at least one teacher is deputed for special classes for every Class – X section.
The Hyderabad DEO also asked deputy educational officers to monitor conduct of special classes in the schools by visiting at least one school every day. A total of 86.76 percent out of 73,202 students who appeared for the Class X exams were declared pass in SSC Public Exams, March 2024.
