Meanwhile, another head constable, Sai Kumar, who hailed from Narsapur town and was working at Kulcharam police station, also died by suicide.
The reason for his death was not immediately known.
Medak Rural Circle Inspector Rajashekhar Reddy rushed to Kulcharam police station and shifted the body to a government hospital for a postmortem.
The police have registered a case and are investigating.
It may be recalled that last year, the Collector’s Gunman, Naresh, died by suicide after killing his family members with his service revolver.
