Bajaj Auto has shared a teaser on social media. The video titled “The sound is enough” doesn’t reveal much, except for the exhaust note. Bajaj has also put out a few teaser images on its Instagram story, which hint at a new RS model. Could it be the new Pulsar RS400? The Pulsar RS400 could share the engine and underpinnings of the NS400Z. The 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces 39.4 BHP @ 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Pulsar RS400 would essentially be a fully-faired version of the NS400Z. It is likely to have a sportier stance with a USD fork in the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It could get multiple riding modes, traction control, and dual-channel ABS.
