Hyderabad: A Mumbai-bound woman passenger was offloaded from a flight after allegedly misbehaving with the crew on board. The 35-year-old passenger, who was intoxicated, was later handed over to the police for further action. RGI airport police registered a case .
According to police, the woman, a marketing executive based in Mumbai and originally from Charminar, was involved in an altercation with the flight crew on Saturday night.
After boarding the flight, she requested the crew for a seat change, but when the crew declined, she picked up an argument with them. Despite repeated requests to return to her seat, she continued the confrontation.
Since the flight had not yet taken off, she was offloaded and handed over to CISF personnel at the RGI airport. Following an inquiry, she was handed over to local police. A nuisance case has been filed, and the woman was issued a notice. Investigations are ongoing, said an RGIA police official.
