The Kia Syros will be the biggest product on display from the South Korean automaker at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. Bookings for this sub-4-metre SUV will commence on January 3. It will make its first public appearance at the Auto Expo, followed by its price announcement in February. With attributes such as a premium, feature-packed, comfortable, and spacious interior, the Syros is set to be a game changer for the automaker.
Kia Syros Features
The subcompact SUV model lineup comes in five trims – HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). The higher trims, HTX and HTX (O), are equipped with features such as a Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charger, ventilated seats, rear disc brakes, Kia Connect, air purifier, ambient lighting with 64 colours, a digital instrument cluster, an auto-dimming IRVM, climate control, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, dual-tone interior, puddle lamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

From the base variant, you get a 12.30-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless phone connectivity, power-adjustable mirrors and windows, rear AC vents, a reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, door curtains, dual-tone grey and black semi-leatherette upholstery, four USB-C charging ports, halogen headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels, silver front and rear skid plates, and a shark-fin antenna.
A dual-pane panoramic sunroof is one of its highlights. The feature list also includes dual-tone upholstery, one-touch function for all windows, a split-folding rear seat with recline function, push-button start, cruise control, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and LED headlamps and taillamps.
Kia Syros Engines & Gearboxes
Kia’s new compact SUV is offered with two engine options – a 120bhp, 1.0L turbo-petrol engine and a 116bhp, 1.5L diesel engine. The turbo-petrol engine delivers a maximum torque of 172Nm, while the diesel engine offers 250Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, while the 7-speed DCT automatic and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions are available exclusively with the turbo-petrol and diesel engines, respectively. The higher automatic trims also come with paddle shifters.
What’s More at the 2025 Auto Expo
The South Korean automaker will also display its existing product lineup, which includes the Sonet, Carens, Seltos, Carnival, EV6, and EV9. In 2025, Kia India plans to introduce the updated Carens with subtle cosmetic changes and feature upgrades. The electric versions of the Carens and Sonet are also rumored to be part of Kia’s 2025 product lineup.
