Hyderabad: Rajendranagar police on Monday arrested Bullishetti Srinivas, 48, for the murder of L Sai Kumar, 32, on Sunday night in Budvel, Rajendranagar.
A row over 500 led to the murder. According to cops, Srinivas borrowed 500 from Sai, promising to return it soon. When Srinivas failed to pay up, Sai insisted him to pay and also buy him liquor, which led to an argument. In a fit of rage, Srinivas attacked Sai with a manhole cover repeatedly.
Sai was rushed to the hospital but declared dead, said police. Srinivas was sent to judicial remand, Rajendranagar SHO said.tnn
