Toyota Innova Hycross has been a popular name-plate in the country for some time. Due to this, the model attracts a long waiting period and is more expensive than its equivalent rebadged Maruti version, the Invicto. That said, many owners turn down their dream to buy Innova Hycross and settle for Maruti Invicto instead. But, recently we came across an owner who bought a new Maruti Invicto and converted it into Toyota Innova Hycross! How? Let’s have a look

Maruti Invicto Modified Into Toyota Innova Hycross


Until now we have seen many car owners that have modified their cars to make them more attractive on the outside or more comfortable from the inside. However, recently we came across a video shared by Indian AutoZone on their youtube channel, wherein an owner transformed his Invicto into a Innova Hycross!
In the video, the modifier mentions that they have completely transformed the look of this MPV. At the front, we can see a completely new grille, identical to that of Innova Hycross, and new bumper as well. Additionally, the new model gets flood lights which are missing on the Invicto. On the sides, the model gets new alloy wheels, footrests and Hycross badging. At the rear, the model gets new rear lights from Toyota Alphard styled LED tail lights. Additionally, all the Suzuki and Invicto badging has been removed from the model.

Interiors


Following the exterior changes, the MPV also gets new interiors. The major change on the inside is made on the steering wheel that houses the driver airbag. The Suzuki logo has been replaced with a new Toyota logo to complete the transformation. Apart from this, the entire interior has been finished in a dual-tone shade of black and tan. The doors have been given Hycross shadow lights and illuminated Hycross scuff plates. In addition to this, it has also been given a complete audio upgrade. It gets Sony ES Series components and coaxials, along with a DSP, amplifier, and double-layer door damping.
The modifier has not shared any details about how much it cost to transform the Invicto into Toyota Innova Hycross.

Appeal


The Indian Motor Vehicle Act, of 1988 clearly states that any modification on the car outside the OEM factory premise is considered illegal. This includes everything from more intense headlights to modifications such as these.
