The physical measurement and efficiency tests for candidates who have cleared the preliminary examination for selection as police constables began on the A.P. Special Police Second Battalion grounds in Kurnool city on Monday (December 30).
Superintendent of Police G. Bindhu Madhav monitored the selections, in which 600 candidates were asked to appear on the first day. Of these, the bio-metrics of 280 were taken.
Mr. Bindhu Madhav said 10,143 candidates will appear for physical tests in total. The AP State Level Police Recruitment Board will invite 600 candidates a day for the physical tests.
After verifying the certificates, the candidates’ height and chest will be measured, post which their bio-metrics will also be taken, he said.
Mr. Bindhu Madhav said the candidates should bring their original certificates as well as their latest caste certificate and non-creamy layer certificates issued after the notification for selection of constable posts.
