The Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV is all set to witness its second generation in 2025. While its official launch date is yet to be revealed, the model is likely to enter production towards the end of 2025, with its prices expected to be announced in early 2026. Since it marks a generational shift, significant changes are expected in its design and interior, inspired by the Creta and Alcazar SUVs. In the crowded sub-4-metre SUV segment, the 2025 Hyundai Venue will face a new challenger – the Kia Syros – alongside the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq.
2025 Hyundai Venue – Improved Styling
Most of the design elements will resemble the Creta, as hinted by spy images. The new Venue will feature a wider and newly designed front grille and a taller front bumper. The updated headlamps with a split setup appear to be borrowed from the Creta. The rear section will receive updates, including an upright tailgate and horizontally placed taillamps connected via a light bar. Dimensionally, the new Venue will remain unchanged, with its length, width, and height continuing at 3,995mm, 1,770mm, and 1,590mm–1,617mm, respectively.
2025 Hyundai Venue – More Features
The interior will boast a fresh look and feel, thanks to new seat upholstery, a redesigned steering wheel, and updated switchgear. The dashboard will also undergo a revision. Hyundai may upgrade its infotainment system, and the material quality could be enhanced further. Rumors suggest that the new Venue might feature a panoramic sunroof to rival the Kia Syros. Additionally, the Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite could be upgraded to Level 2, offering more advanced safety features.
2025 Hyundai Venue – Same Engines
Mechanically, the new Venue will remain identical to the current generation. The subcompact SUV will continue to offer the existing engine options: an 83bhp 1.2L petrol engine, a 120bhp 1.0L turbo petrol engine, and a 100bhp 1.5L diesel engine. These same powertrains are also available in the Kia Sonet. Meanwhile, the Kia Syros, one of its key rivals, comes with a 120bhp 1.0L turbo petrol engine and a 116bhp 1.5L diesel engine.
New Hyundai Venue – Price Expectations
Considering the cosmetic changes and feature upgrades, the new Venue is expected to be slightly more expensive than the current generation. While the existing model is priced between ₹7.94 lakh and ₹13.53 lakh, the prices of the second-generation Venue are likely to start at around ₹8.50 lakh and go up to ₹14.50 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
