Congress MP from Bhongir, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, has criticised BRS working president and Sircilla MLA K.T. Rama Rao for his comments about the Congress government’s performance in the State, questioning the performance of his party-led government in 10 years.
In a statement on Tuesday, Mr. Reddy took issue with KTR’s criticism of the Congress. “KTR’s allegations of fraud are baseless,” Mr. Reddy stated, adding that the Congress government had made substantial efforts despite the challenges it faced. “It is easy to make accusations, but KTR must realise that it is the people who will judge the government’s performance, not the claims of a few political leaders,” Mr. Reddy remarked.
He further dismissed KTR’s ‘3D’ tweet, which was a satirical response to Congress rule. “3D is for you, KTR. You mislead the public with your absurd tweets,” he retorted, adding a sarcastic prayer for KTR’s ‘enlightenment’ in 2025.
Mr. Reddy, who won the parliamentary seat in 2024, reflected on the year as a significant milestone in his life, acknowledging the support of the people of Bhongir. “I will never forget the love the people of his constituency have shown me this year,” he added.
