NUDA gears up to sell MIG housing plots in Nellore

Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA) chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy has announced plans to develop government and private lands in Nellore city limits by developing infrastructure.

In a recent review meeting, he directed the NUDA officials to prepare to sell low-cost housing plots to middle-class income group (MIG) buyers. He inquired about the status of the MIG housing plots developed in Kavali and Kandukur and questioned the officials about why poor people were not coming forward to buy the plots at these locations.

Mr. Reddy alleged that the previous YSRCP government was responsible for NUDA falling into the debt trap over the previous five years. He directed the NUDA officials to create sources of income and undertake development programmes within NUDA limits.
