“Pushpa 2: The Rule” has joined the list of Indian films to generate more than $15 million in North America. It surpassed the desired $15 million threshold today.
With this, the film has virtually equaled other huge films like “Animal,” “Jawaan,” and “RRR,” which have all grossed $15 million. “Pushpa 2” is Allu Arjun’s highest-grossing film to date in North America.
The picture also broke even in this region, with the distributor earning a slight profit. The Hindi version contributed significantly to the overall profit in North America. The Telugu version earned about $8 million, while the Hindi version made around $6.8 million.
The film has received acclaim for its chart-topping songs, action sequences, and performances, particularly by lead actor Allu Arjun. Sukumar’s “Pushpa 2: The Rule” is already one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
