GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR) will host the 27th annual conference of the Dermatopathology Society of India (DSI) from January 3 to 5. Departments of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy (DVL) and Pathology at GIMSR will organise the event, said B.V. Ramachandra, head of the department here on Wednesday.
Over 400 delegates, including pathologists, dermatologists, and medical postgraduates from across the country are expected to take part in the conference on the theme of “Challenging the Dogma.”
Key topics to be covered during the three-day event include inflammatory and infectious diseases, skin tumours, hair and nail disorders.
