U.S. firm Cyara opens global innovation centre in Hyderabad, to raise headcount

U.S. customer experience (CX) assurance solutions provider Cyara on Thursday opened its global innovation centre in Hyderabad, a more than 200-seater facility for which it intends to hire 150 people by December.

The new facility will serve as a critical hub for innovation, accelerating product development and reinforcing the firm’s position as a leader in the CX assurance industry. The new office will create over 200 jobs focused on advancing cutting-edge solutions, Cyara said.

The firm has hired 45 people for the centre here, who now form part of a global headcount of 450. The plan is to increase the number in Hyderabad to 200 by 2025.

“We will continue to grow even beyond… to 500 people by 2027,” CEO Rishi Rana said, adding going forward the company would like to explore India as a market for its products and solutions.

At present, it caters to a few clients in the country.

Besides the new facility Hyderabad, the firm in India has an office with 50 people in Ahmedabad predominantly focused on research and development and CloudOps for Cyara’s key product VoiceAssure.

Stating that more investments from a product development perspective will be made in the Hyderabad office, he said about 80% of the firm’s clients are in North America and the rest in Europe, MENA and Asia.

“The opportunity in Hyderabad enables us to marry the depth and breadth of technical skills required with the deep understanding of the contact centre industry,” said general manager and V-P – engineering, Yogesh More, in a release.
